CFS-A43 filler dispersing agents manufactured by Co-Formula is obtained by controlled radical polymerization of functional organosiloxane. It has a specific molecular structure.It is mainly used in solvent based industrial coatings, automotive coatings or advanced inks. It has high dispersibility and wide compatibility with many solvent based resins. Its functions are as follows:

1. Prevent pig shin and increase storage stability

If an inappropriate dispersing agent is selected, the color paste with poor dispersion will appear pig shin or changes in color due to flocculation.Poorly dispersed color pastes will experience pig shin, settling and decreased tinting strength.

2.Increase color development and color saturation

Using different pigment dispersing agents to disperse the same pigment, whose hue and saturation will be significantly different. Generally speaking, the better the dispersion, the higher the saturation (in case of carbon black, the better the dispersion and the higher the blackness).

3. Increase transparency (organic pigments) or hiding power (inorganic pigments)

For aluminum paint, the higher the transparency of color paste, the better. For plain paint, it is hoped that the higher the covering power of the paste, the better. In fact,this is related to the particle size of the pigment.Dispersing agents can not change the characteristics of pigment itself, but can control the particle size distribution of pigment to achieve a better color effect.

4. Improve grinding efficiency and reduce production cost

The filler dispersing agent enables the air and water on the surface to be replaced more quickly by the liquid of the grinding medium, while maintaining and controlling the separation of the primary pigment particles obtained during the dispersion stage. All of these improve grinding efficiency, reduce energy consumption and labor costs.

5.Prevent settling

If the ground filler flocculate, the pigment particles become larger and the density increases, they will settle quickly. Filler with suitable dispersant can be added less or even no need to add anti settling agent.
