Applications

Used as a moisture-activated cross-linking agent. CFS-S178 is the equivalent product of Momentive Silquest A-178. It can be used to promote adhesion between a wide range

of resins and substrates and reinforcements. It may also be useful as a monomer in the synthesis of organic polymers. Used for chemical bonding between inorganic materials

such as glass fibers, inorganic fillers, metals and organic polymers such as unsaturated polyesters, vinyl esters, acrylics, polybutenes, and polyolefins.

Used in UV-curable coatings to improve adhesion to inorganic substrates.

Packaging

CFS-S178 is available in 25L PE pails, 200L steel drums or 1000L IBC totes.

Custom packaging possibilities are also available.
