Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Oil Description

CFS-F(H) is a methyl hydrogen silicone oil in which some methyl radicals of dimethyl silicone oil are replaced by hydrogen. With several reactive Si-H bonds, CFS-F(H) is mainly used as hydrophobing agent for silicas, powders and fillers. Methyl hydrogen silicone oil is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic and transparent liquid, also known as methyl hydrogen silicone fluid, Polymethylhydrogensiloxane or Methylhydrogenpolysiloxane.

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Oil Application

CFS-F(H) can be used for hydrophobic and moisture-proof treatment of dry powder extinguishing agent, electrical grade magnesia powder, calcium carbonate and other dry powder materials.
CFS-F(H) can be used as waterproof agents for the treatment of various fillers, ceramics, concretes, marbles, glasses, metals, leather and paper.
CFS-F(H) can be used as an important intermediate for the preparation of silicone fluids, polyurethane foam stabilizer, paint water-flowing agent. It is also used for diluting silicone rubber inks.
CFS-F(H) can be used as anti-yellowing agents for high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and cross-linking agents for addition cure silicone rubber products.
CFS-F(H) can be used for soft finishing of fabrics and textiles, such as linen, silk, polyester and nylon. It is also used as a basic material for fabrics finishing agent preparation.

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Oil Storage

CFS-F(H) should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-F(H) should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-F(H) has a shelf life of 12months.
