3-Chloropropyl trimethoxysilane Description

CFS-872 3-Chloropropyltrimethoxysilane is not only an important silane coupling agent but also an essential intermediate for other functional silanes synthesis. It is the equivalent of Momentive Silquest A-143, Dow Corning Z-6076 or ShinEtsu KBM-703.

CFS-872 can be used as a silane coupling agent to improve the bonding performance of organic polymers such as epoxy resins, polyurethane, polyamide and other adhesives on various inorganic substrates.
CFS-872 can be used as an important rubber additive for advanced silicone rubber products.
CFS-872 can be used for the surface treatment of glass fibers. Mechanical properties and chemical properties of composites can be greatly enhanced.
CFS-872 can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of other functional organosilanes and organosilicon compounds. It acts as a basic material of various silanes such as AMMO silane (3-Aminopropyltrimethoxyslane with Cas No. 13822-56-5), A-187 silane (3-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane with Cas No. 2530-83-8), A-174 silane (3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane with Cas No. 2530-85-0), A-189 silane (3-Mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane with Cas No. 4420-74-0) and so on.
