Epoxy resin adhesive with epoxy resin as the base is the most important synthetic adhesive at present. It has the advantages of high adhesive strength, good resistance to chemical media, excellent electrical properties, small shrinkage of the adhesive layer, easy to modify, and easy construction process. However, there is also a large brittle, heat resistance is not ideal disadvantages. But it can be compensated by the modification method of other polymer compounds. Epoxy resin as the base of epoxy resin adhesive is the general name of the polymer compound containing two or more epoxy groups in the molecular chain structure. It exists in the shape of flowable liquid, paste and solid, and has a large number of classifications. At present, the most used epoxy resin is bisphenol A type epoxy resin. Bisphenol A epoxy resin adhesive, it takes bisphenol A epoxysilane resin as the base, adding curing agent and toughening agent, diluent, coupling agent, filler and so on to prepare.

Epoxy silanes adhesive is a liquid or solid adhesive composed of epoxy resin, curing agent, accelerator, modifier, diluent, filler, etc. The gluing process of epoxy adhesive is a complex physical and chemical process, including infiltration, adhesion, curing and other steps, finally generating a three-dimensional cross-linked structure of the cured material, the bonded material into a whole. Adhesive performance (strength, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, impermeability, etc.) depends not only on the structure and performance of the adhesive and the structure of the surface of the bonded material and adhesive properties, and joint design, adhesive preparation process and storage and gluing process are closely related, but also by the surrounding environment (stress, temperature, humidity, media, etc.) constraints. Therefore, the application of epoxy adhesion promoter is a system engineering. The performance of epoxy adhesive must be adapted to the above factors affecting the gluing performance in order to obtain the best results. With the same formula of epoxy adhesive gluing different nature of the object, or using different gluing conditions, or in different environments, its performance will be extremely different.
