I、Application and usage

Co-Formula CFS-165 1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorooctyltrimethoxysilane[CAS 85857-16-5; Dynasylan F8161] has excellent water resistance, water repellency, oil resistance and anti-reflective properties. The low refractive index of fluorosilane can make the substrate play the effect of preventing light reflection, and the application field is wide.
1. Anti-fouling coating for building materials.
2. Self-cleaning for aluminum alloy and other products.
3. Additives for sol-gel and gel systems.
4. Water repellent and oil repellent treatment for the surface of glass, granite, tile, natural stone, wood-plastic composites or fiber, etc.
5. synthesis of fluorosilicone resin, surface coating of pigments in cosmetics, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), etc.

II、Use method.

1. With suitable solvent dilution and operation method, its molecules can penetrate into the hard, multi-vacancy inorganic structure of the substrate, so as to achieve deep and long-term water repellent and anti-fouling protection.
2. The treated substrate (material) should be clean, dry, free of floating powder and ash, free of grease and other dirt.
3. Apply suitable solvents, such as alcohols, petroleum solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, isoparaffins or their mixtures diluted to the ideal concentration of about 0.5-2% of the mass ratio, brush or spray on the surface of the substrate. Prepared solution avoid contact with air for a long time and the container must be sealed.
4. When using, add 0.5% acetic acid to promote hydration, if necessary, use a dropper to put a drop or two of water into it.
5. evenly painted on the treatment surface, maintain sufficient curing time, if necessary, can be baked to 200-300° C.
6. Waterproof and antifouling test of the treated substrate (material) should be carried out after complete curing, generally after 24 hours.
7. the formation of a waterproof and antifouling protective layer is completely invisible and will not lead to optical damage to the substrate.
