Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane is a new kind of reactive silane coupling agent, which is prone to happen hydrolysis reaction and cross-linking reaction. In addition, it is widely used as reinforcing agent and cross-linking promoter in composite materials, coatings, inks, glues and sealing materials, as well as resin modified additives and enzyme fixative.
Use of aminopropyltrimethoxysilane:
Amino group and methoxy group are used to couple organic polymer and inorganic filler respectively to enhance their adhesion.
1. the mechanical, electrical, water and anti-aging properties of the products. The thermoplastic and thermosetting resins, such as phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide and carbonate, which are used in mineral filling, can greatly improve the physical and mechanical properties, such as dry and wet bending strength, compressive strength, shear strength and wet electrical properties of the reinforced plastics, and improve the wettability and dispersion of the fillers in the polymer. In resin sand casting, the adhesion of resin silica sand is enhanced, and the strength and moisture resistance of molding sand are improved. In the production of glass fiber cotton and mineral cotton, adding them to phenolic binder can improve moisture resistance and increase compression resilience.
2. It has excellent adhesion promoter, so it can be used for polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesive and sealing materials, which improve the dispersion of pigment, improve the adhesion to glass, aluminum, iron metal, and it is also applied for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylic emulsion paint.
3. It is used for the synthesis of amino silicone oil and its emulsion.
