Characterization and Application of Gamma-glycidyl Ether Oxypropyl Trimethoxysilane (KH-560 epoxy silane)

Application object:

1.Resins: phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, nylon, polyurethane, unsaturated polyester, alkyd resin, acrylic resin, and natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, ethylene-propylene terpolymer, PE, PP, PVC, SBS, etc.

2.Fillers: talc powder, kaolin, mica, silica, wollastonite, glass fiber, Al (OH) 3, Mg (OH) 2, metals and their oxides.

Characteristics of KH-560epoxy silane:

1. It can improve the mechanical strength of twistless glass fiber roving reinforced composites, and has a high strength retention rate in the wet state.

2. It can improve the adhesion between resin and substrates, inorganic fillers, thereby improving the wet electrical properties of epoxy resin-based integrated electronic materials and printed circuit boards.

3. It can improve the wet electrical properties of many inorganic mineral-filled composites such as nylon and PBT.

4.KH-560epoxy silane as a surface treatment agent of the inorganic filler is widely used in ceramics, talc powder, wollastonite, silica, quartz, aluminum powder, copper powder, and iron powder.

5.KH-560 epoxy silane is suitable for epoxy sealants filled with quartz, epoxy concrete repair materials filled with sand or coatings and epoxy die materials filled with metal.

6.KH-560 epoxy silane can also improve the adhesion of the two-component epoxy sealant.

7. It can improve the adhesion of acrylic latex to sealants, polyurethane and epoxy coatings.
