Overview

CFS-351[A-1170] is a secondary aminobissilane that has a molecular structure containing only one secondary amino functional group of active hydrogen and six hydrolyzable alkoxy groups ( methoxy ) . This dual reactivity allows it to improve the bonding, bonding and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through bidirectional chemical reactions between the two, thereby improving the mechanical properties of resin matrix composites or improving the bonding strength and water resistance of resin coatings. In different applications, CFS-351[A-1170]  can be used as a coupling agent, adhesion promoter, curing agent, surface modifier for pigment fillers, etc. CFS-351[A-1170]  has twice the hydrolyzable alkane structure of ordinary silanes, so it can form a higher crosslinking density with polymers.

CFS-351[A-1170] is methoxysilane, and its hydrolysis rate is significantly faster than that of ethoxysilane, but the by-reactant of its hydrolysis reaction is methanol, which is slightly less environmentally friendly.
